Private Cage Colocation
Private Cage Co-location is designed to meet the needs of medium and large businesses seeking the most stable and secure environment available for mission critical infrastructure.
With private cage space, your equipment is secure in an environment that is completely physically isolated from other companies. Isolated floor space, isolated racks and isolated power form the basis for all cage deployments.
Cages are constructed from high quality, woven or welded wire fencing. Your racks and other equipment are located within the confines of the private cage. The free air flow provided by wire fencing material allows for proper cooling even in relatively confined spaces.
The cage door may be keyed or fitted with electronic locking systems such as biometrics or card key controls depending on customer security and reporting requirements.
Power circuits for private cage customers are delivered beneath the floor of the customer's cage. Perforated and grommeted floor tiles are available for customer use within the cage. Ladder racking is also available above the cage to help with cable distribution
Private cage customers may access their cage 24/7. With private rack space you are entitled to one or more access cards which provide unassisted access to the data center for your employees.
Bandwidth, various power configurations, cross connections, remote hands, backup services, and consulting services are also available to complete your private cage deployment.
Private cage space is available in sizes ranging from about 100 square feet to 2000 square feet. The general rule of thumb for private cage space is thirty square feet per rack deployed. Cage sides may be configured in multiples of 4' and 5' with the smallest possible side wall being 8' or 10' respectively.
